Jonathan is a water quality scientist with more than 10 years of professional experience in surface water quality assessments and compliance monitoring. He specializes in water quality assessments and data evaluations as part of aquatic effects monitoring programs in Northern Canada.

For the last three years his primary role has been the water quality lead for a Northern contaminated mine site. In this role he was responsible for the oversight of monthly field sampling programs, coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, and providing technical expertise to support regulatory and mine closure activities in support of an environmental assessment.

Jonathan is a chemist by trade, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Prince Edward Island, and has strong analytical laboratory background, specializing in water quality nutrient analysis. Jonathan graduated from Dalhousie University in 2011 with a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science.
