Nicole is a Registered Professional Biologist with over 19 years combined experience in terrestrial ecosystem, vegetation and wildlife ecology. She specializes in writing environmental effects assessments, baseline reports, and mitigation and management plans. She also specializes in ecosystem mapping and conducting vegetation and bird field work. Nicole has served various roles, including Terrestrial Ecosystems Lead for the Vegetation and Wetlands effects assessment application process, Project Coordinator for environmental assessments and mine permit applications, and Vegetation Lead for mine closure and reclamation planning support and wetland compensation planning. Nicole has worked on provincial, national, and international projects within the mining, energy, oil and gas, transportation, and forestry sectors. The majority of her experience lies within the northern BC mining industry; however, projects include those in the Northwest Territories and Dominican Republic.
