Indigenous Interests & Community Well-Being

What We Do

Falkirk has several decades of experience navigating and supporting consultation and engagement with diverse communities across Canada for a variety of resource and energy projects, while conducting environmental effects assessments, regional assessments, and supporting project permitting, technical reviews, and Impact Benefit Agreement negotiations.

Our team brings a deep understanding of social, cultural, and environmental dynamics across Canada. We prioritize inclusive engagement, recognizing the value of all voices through active listening and collaboration. This leads to project success.

Our team integrates western science with Indigenous knowledge, using gender-based analysis plus (GBA+) to address diverse needs. We also conduct socio-economic baselines and assessment and technical studies on community health, including Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessments and Cumulative Effects Assessments.

Our strategic, community-focused methods ensure Indigenous worldviews are meaningfully included from planning to project completion, supporting shared goals and long-term positive outcomes for communities.

We focus on:

  • Human Environment
  • Human Health and Community Well-being
  • Indigenous Interests
  • Indigenous Engagement
  • Negotiations and Mediation
  • Traditional Land Use Planning
