Alyssia is an environmental professional with 10 years of experience working in the environmental sector as an environmental consultant and as a referrals analyst for the shishalh Nation. Alyssia is registered as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia. Alyssia has extensive field experience performing riparian habitat assessment, fish salvages, construction monitoring and taking surface and ground water samples. Alyssia also has experience working alongside first nation government with various local and provincial governments navigating regulations and application requirements. In her spare time Alyssia enjoys scuba diving, mountain biking , paddleboarding and exploring the outdoors around her home on the traditional territory of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).
