Melissa has a Master’s in International Development Studies from the University of Ottawa and an Undergraduate Degree in Political Science from the University of Alberta. She enjoys finding creative solutions to new problems and finding the most efficient path in a logistical puzzle. Melissa is currently working towards becoming a certified Project Manager through PMI and has spent the majority of her professional career managing reforestation projects in the BC Interior. Melissa is passionate about connection and community building, and in her spare time she is the Founder and Director of Operations of a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering inclusion in the Vancouver Island surf community. She will be managing our indigenous engagement scopes of work. Her skillset focuses on Project management, logistics, fostering a positive work culture and building team capacity.
