Moriah is a Project Coordinator working in Indigenous and Stakeholder Engagement providing support on the delivery of projects within that practice area.

Before joining the Falkirk team in 2022, she worked in the non-profit sector managing an inclusive employment project, qathet Inclusive Manufacturing Pilot Project (qIM), for inclusion Powell River. While at qIM, she worked in sales and marketing, business development, community engagement and fundraising. Moriah is a co-founder and developer of the start-up social enterprise OneLight, a company that employs persons with disabilities and people with other barriers to employment in manufacturing.

Previously, Moriah assisted in forestry surveying and stakeholder engagement on pipeline construction in Northern BC with Silverwood Consulting, a silviculture consulting agency based in the unceded territory of the Tsimshian First Nation. She also conducted stakeholder engagement and assisted as a translator for a non-profit in Roatán, Honduras where she helped to break ground on an eco-village designed to assist the island’s residents in economic sustainability and independence.

Moriah studied Political Science, Geography and Environmental Studies at UBC and McGill University. In her free time she enjoys cold water swimming and kayaking around her home town located on the traditional unceded territory of the Tla’amin Nation.
